Mr. Zhi-Yuan Lin's PicAfter more than forty years of efforts, our hospital has seen much improvement in terms of “medical equipment and service efficacy.” We were evaluated as the qualified “local general hospital” and have been appointed one of the medical network hospitals. Now we are one of the National Health Insurance chartered hospitals.

We also follow the instructions of Chief Commissioner Yang, to express compassion, love, patience, care, and treat the sick as our own family. To fulfill our missions, we have implemented the following measures:

  1. Follow the orders of the Department of Health in strengthening medical services for seriously ill persons in the eastern Taiwan. We have established an ICU and continue to raise its standards.
  2. Have a complete medical system, recruit medical staff, and maximize medical functions.
  3. Establish “Volunteer Service Teams” that participate in the medical missions.
  4. Reinforce the computerization of medical and administrative records.
  5. Provide transportation to pick up veteran patients from their homes or care centers.
  6. Enhance service quality, expand service coverage, and increase the quality of medical care.
In short, our hospital follows the policy of helping veterans to seek the medical attention they need, focuses on current needs, works with the projects and goals of the Department of Health, relentlessly upgrades medical standards, improves medical facilities, and benefits the local medical care system.
